While I was working as an intern for Kym Abrams in Chicago, I was asked to revise the branding for the Chicago Grammar School. We wanted to make it mean a bit more, but we didn't want to stray too far from the original. The final drawing incorporates the C and G into the logo, while keeping a similar overall feel. We also updated the type while we were at it. The previous design was a bit stuffy for a grammar school, so we tried a less formal type/logo arrangement as well.
