Adler School of Psychology

2009

This project is from my time interning in Chicago with Kym Abrams. This was our pitch for an annual report for the Adler School of Psychology.

One of the key tenants of the school was the goal of creating "socially responsible graduates." Through talking with the client, we realized that they were actually doing it and it deserved celebration. So in this annual report, we raised the question, "What does social responsibility look like?" Then throughout the book, the idea was to give the report through highlighting the school's successes.

Here's a little of what we were thinking:

We wanted their annual report to be about the stories. So many of their graduates end up doing amazing things in different parts of the world, some stay and work for change right there in Chicago. From children's chalk-art festivals to military counseling, we wanted to show that the school and the people who support the school are making a difference. Emphasizing what was being taught in the classrooms, and the professors and leaders that make it possible.
